The website d-thinking cafè cultivates the ambition to rethink
the Design tradition of Milan, easing the convergence of
multidisciplinary contents, in order to build a rich, diversified
and committed community around this issue. Milan, the capital
of Industrial Design since the 60's, can now be the protagonist
of the design thinking, which is seen in an extensive and partially
redefined way, capable to move beyond usual circles and “small worlds”.
We'd like to call this form of design “d-thinking”, according with
the global trend of the D-Schools, which, beyond the simple idea
of Design Schools, are just becoming the most appealing
contemporary concept of a “new school”.
